Donna has led or supported research, planning, outreach, and public engagement activities to inform neighborhood revitalization, public safety, early childhood education, equitable development, workforce, environmental, and youth-focused strategic initiatives.

Jenny Chen
Project Manager
Jenny Chen is a community development practitioner and organizer committed to building the capacity of organizations to create change in their neighborhoods. Jenny has worked with community development corporations and grassroots organizations in both Boston and Philadelphia where she has planned and implemented collaborative efforts to address issues of public safety, gentrification, and food access.

Meg is a motivated and creative community engagement coordinator, small business owner, and graphic designer with close to a decade of experience working with a diverse range of communities. She is skilled in strategic communication, precise documentation, program implementation, and facilitation. Working either independently or as part of a team, Meg’s mission-driven approach ensures a powerful combination of thoroughness and enthusiasm in all her work.

Marángeli Mejía Rabell
Marángeli Mejía-Rabell centers community media, cultural organizing, intersectionality, accessibility, and diversity in her work. As Director of the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival and Co-Founder/ Partner of AFROTAINO, she co-curates, designs, and executes arts and culture programming and multidisciplinary projects. She believes honoring our roots can serve as a tool for social change and community self-actualization.

Kasey Thompson
Kasey Thompson builds the capacity of organizations and systems that advance youth development, support families, and foster vibrant communities. She works with groups to design new programs and initiatives, secure resources, and establish infrastructure to sustain high-quality operations that improve life outcomes. Kasey is bilingual Spanish-English and has worked with diverse stakeholders throughout her career.

Carolyn Brown
Carolyn Brown is the former Director of Neighborhood Initiatives for the City of Philadelphia, Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity (CEO). Carolyn has worked as a planning professional in the field of housing and community development for over 25 years, as a consultant to cities and townships in Pennsylvania, and on the staffs of local housing and redevelopment agencies.

Lula Abera
Lula Abera specializes in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) assessment, strategic planning, and organizational development. She brings over 14 years of experience as an expert organizational development consultant, certified coach, community engagement specialist, conflict resolution mediator, and thought-provoking facilitator. Lula holds a Master’s in Organizational Development and is an ICF Certified PCC coach.
